St. Petersburg Pool School

One of the things that sets Maintech Pool aside from the rest is our school.

We had a client whose landlord had hired a pool service, and the service was not that well versed.  They had difficulty getting skimmer, and vacuum working, and would be constantly juggling valves back and forth trying to get everything to work.  Eventually, the pumps and valves were left in such a disarray that the pool spa would drain in the middle of the night, and the pumps would be sucking air for hours.

Needless to say, our clients became incredibly concerned.  The old pool service company was talking about thousands of dollars to fix the controllers, and adjust the valves and repair the pumps..never admitting of course, that their lack of knowledge had created a huge problem.

Well, Jeff and Wendi found me.. how I don't know.. and they had me come over to simply get the pool running "straight" again, and to instruct them on how each of the valves should be set, and what they went to.  It turns out, once the valves and timers were all set properly, the pool ran fine.  There was some damage from running the spa dry, but not on the magnitude of thousands of dollars in repairs.

We often hear "I wish someone would just tell me how to set the thing, I can maintain it once I understand it!"  That's where pool school comes in.

We will analyze your entire pool system, from indoor panels to outdoor valves, and give you a schematic of how it should be setup.  We will talk you through it, and not leave until we are sure that you understand it.  We will leave behind a schematic showing you how each valve should be set so that you will always know how your pool should be optimally configured.
